In recent days, a member of our project, Marina Bastero Acha, also joined the "Engendering Ancient Economies Network" project, led by, among others, prof. Marta Garcia Morcillo from the University of Durham. According to the project's leaders, it aims to show women as key players in ancient economies and to promote a gender and intersectional perspective in the field of economic research in pre-modern societies.
