Marina’s paper at a conference in Rome

**On 7th November, Marina participated in the international conference I Sarcofagi Paleocristiani Romani: Nuovi Studi, Nuovi Approcci, organized by the German Archaeological Institute (DAI Rome) and the Vatican Museums. Her paper, Customizing Late Antique Sarcophagi in Aquincum: Negotiating Agency Between Commissioner and Craftsperson, examined how patrons and artisans interacted in shaping the final appearance of Late Antique sarcophagi from the Roman province of Pannonia. The presentation drew on research carried out during her stays at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, where she analyzed local materials and workshop practices.
