**Recently Marina had the opportunity to participate in the Conference ‘Rome and Iberia V. Diversity of Relations from Antiquity to Modernity’ organised by the Departments of Classical Philology and Hispanic Philology of the University of Łódź. Her paper, entitled ‘Evergetismo religioso y espacios públicos: las sacerdotisas y flamínicas como agentes de la memoria colectiva y la identidad cívica hispanorromana’, explored female evergetism through epigraphic evidence in Roman Hispania. The paper helps us better understand the involvement of elite women in the process of the making of inscriptions and creating patterns of their self-presentation.
